It is an honor to serve as principal of Maplewood Elementary in Wayne Township. Our staff strives everyday to meet the needs of our students in order to maximize the potential within each individual. The Maplewood team is eager to partner with parents and the community and create open communication and a nurturing environment for all our our students. We foster a growth mindset so that students believe in themselves and feel the confidence to overcome the many obstacles they face.

I am blessed to work with a staff that is passionate about student growth and success. We provide a safe, risk- free environment where students and staff are a community of learners dedicated to always achieving their personal best. At Maplewood, we stop and think and make positive choices in the learning so that every child will reach their potential. We use data to set goals for improvement and success. We recognize effort and a positive attitude. Our hard work and success was recognized when Maplewood was named a National Title One Distinguished School for Closing the Achievement Gap.
